The NuWave offers a wider temperature range than competitor models. This permits the appliance to act as more than just a cooktop. The NuWave does the thinking for you. It would help if you could put into the add that it only works with special pots and pans. I only have one pot that works with it.

I have had this induction hob about 3 months now, using it daily. While I have 3 other hobs, this is my favorite. Even though the wattage is lower than 2 of my others, the PIC temperature range is much wider and it adjusts in 10 degree increments. It may also be a bit more responsive, but with induction cooking everything is FAST. I also found the included pan to be of good quality. I won't do business with certain marketing companies that carry this, but there are others also carrying it now. As for the actual unit, every manufacturer has a dud now and then. If it doesn't work for you, send it back for a replacement, THEN review it.

For the price this is a great system. I have been using the Nuwave oven for two years and decided to buy this system. The cookware is great for the prices and the system works well for general use in the kitchen. I see some really negative review for this product and can't imagine why. My first attempt at cooking with this was an omelette that came out perfect.

I have covered up my stove top burners only use the pic systems for everything. Yes, you do need special cookware but I also purchased the nuwave set it is the best cookware I own. Very high quality very easy clean up. This is a must have no matter what type of cook you are. Temp control is everything !! Portability is just another perk .

It's made Cooking Fun and Easy! Need hot water for Yeast, Candy warming . No guessing,set it at 100,110,120 you get the temp you set!. LOVE THIS NuWave cooktop

Of all the extras I have in my kitchen, this is the must have. I loved it from the first time I used it. Even cooking, sautéing is a synch, harder to burn, you find yourself cooking a whole lot more than before because it is fun and you haven't heated up the whole kitchen. The moment you turn off the Nu Wave the heat stops.

I use as an extra burner. Doesn't heat up the whole house. Extremely Fast heating. Quiet Safe Can't say enough about how much I love this item.

I received mine a few weeks ago and love them. I live in my Motor Home and they are perfect for that. I would suggest anyone RVing get them. I am also having a tiny house built and will definitely use them in there. Such a space saving advantage.
